Introduction to Empirical Accounting Research

This master course is held in cooperation with the Chair of International Accounting (BWL X) in German each winter semester.

The course is based on the discussion of selected articles from international journals. Besides, an exercise teaches how accounting-related information can be processed and analyzed with statistical software (e.g., R, STATA). The course will be graded based on journal article presentations and a research project within the exercise.
